ALL ROUND CRICKETERS OF ALL TIME

​There are players in cricket who are proficient batsmen or bowlers etc. however, the number of all-round cricketers is quite less. In the present time, we are all observing many all rounders in cricket including AB de Villiers, Jadeja and Shane Watson. These players are working hard to get their names registered in the list of All Round Players in Cricket of All Time.

There are a few cricketers who have successfully got their names written in large bold letters. The list gives you the names of the most celebrated players. Perhaps some players might have been missed by me, but you can frankly add their names in the comment box.

1. Jacques Kallis

At the number one position, we have Jacques Kallis. He has a vast experience and has associated himself with his game of passion after the retirement too. He has been an excellent batsman and bowler. His outstanding skills were demonstrated by him in tests as well as One Day International formats of cricket. Kallis possesses a record of 11,579 runs and 273 wickets in ODI. On the other hand he has 13,289 runs and 292 wickets in tests matches. 
2. Sir Garfield Sobers

Popularly known as Gary Sobers, is considered as one of the most talented players in the present time as well. He had equal expertise in batting as well as bowling. He was an exceptional West Indian cricketer. He holds the record of 365 runs not out in his career. Sobers has scored 8,032 runs and took 232 wickets in his test match career
3. Imran Khan

At number third, we place the Pakistani skipper, Imran Khan in the list of All Round Players in Cricket of All Time. He is considered as one of the most successful Pakistani captains. He also has the credit of changing the attitude and style of Pakistan’s cricketers while on the field. He has been an exceptional all rounder for almost twenty years. He has taken 182 wickets and scored 3,709 runs in the ODIs. In his tests career, he scored 3,807 runs with 362 wickets. 

4. Sir Richard Hadlee

The Kiwi star, Richard Hadlee, has been successful in gaining the fourth position in the list of All Round Players in Cricket of All Time because of his consistent performance. At the time of his retirement, Sir Richard held the record of taking the highest wickets in the world in the format of test matches. The record was later broken by Kapil Dev. He, after the retirement, was honored with knighthood for his brilliant cricket performance. He had scored 1,752 runs with 158 wickets and 3124 runs with 431 wickets in ODI and Test cricket respectively. 

5. Kapil Dev

The Haryana Express from India has stopped at the number fifth platform of the list of All Round Players in Cricket of All Time. He is considered as one of the most successful captain of India even now. He has broken Sir Richard Hadlee’s record and became the highest wicket taker in test cricket. Kapil Dev has received the cricketer of the Year award in the year 2002. He has registered a record of 3,783 runs and 253 wickets in ODI. On the other hand he has 5,248 runs and 434 wickets in tests matches. 
6. Shaun Pallock

The South African star, an outstanding batsman and fast bowler is at number six. He possesses a record of 3,519 runs and 393 wickets in ODI. On the other hand he has 3,781 runs and 421 wickets in tests matches. He has been widely celebrated as one of the best all-rounder witnessed in the world of cricket.
7. Shakib Al Hasan 

The young Bangladeshi cricketr, Shakib Al Hasan has accomplished to attain a place among all the experienced and legendary all round cricketers.  Shakib possesses a record of 3,688 runs and 161 wickets in ODI. On the other hand he has 1,984 runs and 106 wickets in tests matches. He has been ranked in the ICC world ranking as well.
8. Sir Ion Bathom

At number eight we have Sir Ion Bathom of England, who was knighted after his retirement. Sir Ion Bathom possesses a record of 2,113 runs and 145 wickets in ODI. On the other hand he has 5,200 runs and 383 wickets in tests matches. 
9. Keith Miller

Kallis possesses a record of 2,958 runs and 170 wickets in tests matches. 
10. Sanath Jayasurya

possesses a record of 13,430 runs and 323 wickets in ODI. On the other hand he has 6,973 runs and 98 wickets in tests matches.
